Rostov Electrometallurgical Plant is one of the largest enterprises in southern Russia, specializing in steel production and rolled metal products. The plant’s history began in 2004 when the decision was made to establish a modern metallurgical complex capable of supplying the market with high-quality steel. Construction began in 2005, and by 2007, the plant was fully operational. From that moment, efforts focused on expanding production capacity and modernizing technological processes.

From the very beginning, the plant set ambitious goals. In 2008, serial production of continuous cast billets was launched, and in 2011, the second phase was commissioned, introducing a small-section wire rod mill that significantly expanded the product range. The design and construction incorporated cutting-edge engineering solutions, making the plant one of the most modern in the metallurgical industry.

Today, the plant covers an area of 28 hectares and is a complex of powerful production facilities equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The layout of all production units is optimized for maximum logistical efficiency. Automated production management systems monitor all technological stages, ensuring precision, stability, and uninterrupted equipment operation.

The plant was conceived as a next-generation enterprise where innovation drives development. During construction and modernization, technologies from leading global metallurgical equipment manufacturers were implemented. Today, the company not only meets modern standards but also sets a high benchmark in the industry, offering efficient and rational technological solutions.
